How to prepare your child for childcare
Childcare is becoming very popular, as everyone’s family
dynamic is different. Childcare, or kindergarten, is a form of early childhood
education. While childcare prepares the child for school, you can prepare your
child for childcare.
What do
children learn in childcare?
Children, especially those approaching school age, are
taught what is expected of them for school. For example, in Montessori
education, children are taught five curricula areas: Practical Life, Sensorial,
Language, Mathematics, and Culture.
Early childhood education is the start of your child’s
full-time education. This is when children will be separated from their parents
and exposed to new people and things. So, it would be very exciting for your
child, however, at the start of this new experience, some may develop separation
anxiety. It is important that you know how to identify and help your child.
